The largest of all BWA Wrocław galleries. It works in dialogue with the inherited name showing the latest phenomena and new interpretations of influential traditions. The programme is not just about exhibitions – contemporary art is an experience: performances, workshops and special events.
From 2019 for the time of securing the building and preparing it for the first phase of renovation works, the space of the Awangarda Gallery will be closed to the public. The spectacular windows of the side wings will continue to serve as an exhibition display, referring thevisitors to the programme of the new gallery at the Wrocław Główny railway station.
