Open Call: submit exhibitions and events

Hello!

We are starting work on BWA Wrocław’s programme for 2026! And in preparation, we are opening a new Open Call for exhibitions and events in our galleries: BWA Wrocław Główny, Dizajn, SIC! and Studio.

You can submit your own idea for activities at BWA Wrocław. These can be artistic projects (required: portfolio and sketched exhibition concept, links to IG or www) and curatorial projects (required: exhibition scenario with visual material, links to IG or www) and events (required: event scenario and visual material, links to IG or www).

Applications – sent via the form on this page – will be accepted from 18 April 2025 (00:00) until 31 May 2025 (23:59). Applications sent earlier, since the last meeting of the BWA Wrocław programme pillar dedicated to this subject, i.e. between 1 October 2024 and 17 April 2025 (until 23:59), will also be considered.

While working on your application, please take a look at our programme to gain an insight into the nature, scale and type of projects we carry out. We encourage you to check our website and social media, where we regularly publish news about our current activities and plans for the future.

In response to your submission, you will receive an automatic confirmation of its acceptance. From among the applications submitted, the BWA Wrocław programme pillar will select the most interesting proposals corresponding to the character of our institution’s activities, and the chosen ones will be included in the programme for 2026. However, we reserve the right not to propose cooperation to any of the applicants.

We will publish the results on our website by 30 June 2025. At that time, we will also contact the applicants individually.

Let us know about your idea. Introduce yourself and your project to us. Tell us about it clearly, including information such as: the concept of the exhibition or event, your CV, a link to your Instagram or website, participating artists/creators (for events and group exhibitions).

Please provide an estimated budget. Or does the project have funding? If so, to what extent?

I have read the information clause and agree to the processing of personal data. 1. The administrator of your personal data is BWA Wrocław Contemporary Art Galleries, based in Wrocław, 46a Ruska Street, segment B, premises 103, 50-079 Wrocław, entered in the Register of Cultural Institutions kept by the Wrocław Municipality under the number RIK 20/94, NIP: 896-000-58-45, REGON: 000278391.

2. We have appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted on matters of personal data protection and exercising your rights via e-mail at: iod@bwa.wroc.pl or in writing at the address of our registered office.

3. Your personal data will be processed on the basis of Art.6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016

4. The recipients of your personal data will be only entities entitled to obtain them on the basis of legal regulations.

5. You have the right to request from the Administrator access to your personal data, the right to rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and the right to data portability.

6. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. The provision of personal data is voluntary, however, the refusal to provide such data may result in the non-acceptance of the application for cooperation with BWA Wrocław Galeria Sztuki Współczesnej.
