BWA Europe 2025
We are delighted to announce that BWA Wrocław is part of the BWA Europa Festival with the project ‘Residency of the Neringa Forest Architecture Collective‘, organised by the National Centre for Culture and the University of the Commission for National Education in Kraków as part of the celebrations of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2025.
BWA EUROPA 2025 is a series of events including exhibitions, conferences, discussion panels, workshops and, above all, meetings with artists from different European countries in as many as 22 city galleries across Poland.
The festival is a unique opportunity to discover the diversity of contemporary art phenomena. The events include exhibitions, screenings, projections and interventions by foreign artists invited by individual galleries. The aim of the project is to combine and exploit in joint action the potential of a unique network of cooperation between Polish cultural institutions and to bring the richness of Europe’s common heritage to audiences in many locations throughout the country. We want to discover it together during local live encounters with our friends and colleagues from different corners of the continent.

The programme will feature as many as 19 contemporary art exhibitions and screenings, 42 creative workshops, 25 panel discussions and meetings with male and female artists, 4 performance activities and visits by 15 artists invited to Poland for creative residencies, including Jurga Daubaraitė and Jonas Žukauskas from the Neringa Forest Architecture collective.
We encourage you to follow our news and join us on this artistic journey. BWA EUROPA 2025 is a time for art, dialogue and shared creativity.
