Katarzyna Roj

Deputy Director for Programme, Promotion and Education

Katarzyna Roj is a curator, editor and author of many texts on material culture. She is responsible for the Dizajn BWA Wrocław gallery’s artistic programme. In her work, she focuses on the dissemination of issues related to speculative design, resilience, overconsumption and the use of design tools in the processes of adaptation to climate change. 

Currently, she is running a long-term project called Żyjnia, i.e. the social and educational space located in the Dizajn gallery, which functions as a municipal sanatorium in between events. She also curates the Culture of Regeneration project – a series of meetings, walks, and podcasts largely devoted to the Wrocław Irrigation Fields.
