Rules for program proposal submissions in BWA Wrocław Galleries
BWA Wrocław is a city cultural institution. Its mission is to present and promote contemporary art. We strive to choose the most interesting projects out of the vast amount of intriguing phenomena and valuable creative proposals and show them in our galleries. The most crucial part of our work is gaining an understanding in contemporary art and ensuring that the audience understand their meaning and the messages they carry. That is why we are open to cooperation with artists and curators. Below are the rules by which you can submit program proposals.
Program Proposal Form
Dates
The exhibition schedule in BWA Wrocław is prepared a minimum of a year in advance. It is possible to submit exhibition projects and other program proposals until the 5th of April of the year preceding the planned project.jest każdorazowo do dnia 5 kwietnia roku poprzedzającego planowaną realizację zadania.
Documents
The application documents comprise:
- filled out PROGRAM PROPOSAL FORM
- photographs of the works or other form of visual documentation (only in electronic form, maximum 5MB)

When will we respond?
We will confirm the receipt of the proposals (in the same form that the proposal was submitted) and with enough time we will respond to the ones that we decide to include in our program by 1 September of the year preceding the proposed exhibition dates).
Attention!
We exclusively accept electronic documentation. Paper-based materials will be sent back.
Personal data protection
The personal data of the persons submitting the application documents will be collected and processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of 26 August 1997 (unified text Dz.U. of 2002, no. 101, item 926, as amended). In the understanding of the aforementioned Act, BWA Wrocław Contemporary Art Galleries is the administrator of the personal data collected during the exhibition qualification process. Each person submitting the application documents has the right to access their personal data as well as request that they be corrected or removed. The personal data will not be made available to other entities. Providing this data is obligatory.
The person trying to qualify an exhibition states that he/she is the only author of works proposed for the exhibition/proposed exhibition concept and he/she is entitled to exclusive and unlimited copyrights and derivative rights to the works proposed for the exhibition/proposed exhibition concept and that the works are not encumbered by copyrights of any third parties.
